The Santa Clara County Real Estate market has shown increases across the board from number of homes being sold, to the dollar value increase on homes.  The number of homes selling $3million+ was about 733 in 2017, now in 2021 there were a towering 2,228 homes for sale for $3 million+.   Santa Clara County saw the highest 12-month sales volume since 2007.  More 2-bedroom homes were sold over $500+ in 2021 which is higher by square foot than in any previous year long term.

2021 was a sellers-market and San Jose made up 52% of the Santa Clara County sales in 2021.
