This month’s “Lifestyle Letter” continues our Summer Series.
We know it’s tempting to spend all your time outdoors during the beautiful weather, but why not think about doing some small organizing or sprucing up projects? Even clearing out and cleaning your refrigerator can be a very satisfying experience :-)). We just went through a few boxes of old documents and threw away quite a bit of years-old materials we just don’t need anymore. Whatever you choose to do, you’ll feel great afterwards!
Foodies and Music Lovers
BBQing is an endlessly creative summer adventure. We all seem to be eating more fish these days, and especially during the hot weather. Here’s a recipe for grilled tuna teriyaki…..and don’t forget to include a salad of veggies from your garden!
And why not grab a picnic and enjoy some music outdoors?
Get out in that garden!!
Yes, it’s hard to keep up with all the tomatoes, peppers, onions, zucchini, and other summer veggies you’ve planted! Give to your neighbors, take to the office, set up a veggie stand on the curb on the weekends, donate to the Food Bank, and put the word out on Next Door!
And how do you get the bumper crop we’re talking about? Try a product we’re using called EM1, a non-chemical inoculant that is an absolute miracle for veggies. You can check it out at http://www.teraganix.com .
This Month’s Quotation:
“Home is where one starts from.” — T.S. Eliot
And speaking of home, a little about real estate
We continue to preach the value of living in the Tri-Valley area. If you can’t find what you want in Silicon Valley, consider Livermore/Dublin/Pleasanton and the surrounding area. We’ve been investigating some of the new home developments in
this area, and there are four that are right in Livermore, starting in the $700,000’s. Remember, this lovely small city of about 90,000 is only 30 miles
from Silicon Valley! And there are four ACE trains in the morning from Livermore to San Jose, and four trains back from San Jose in the late afternoon/evening.
We have loads of information about these developments, so if you’re interested in a beautiful, large, brand new home in a lovely environment with every amenity you could wish for in both the home and the community, give us a call for a tour.
And how about some June housing stats from Santa Clara County? Interest rates are low and we think this year will be relatively stable as far as prices are concerned. It’s a good market for either selling or buying.
And last but not least, THE TRENDS
