Get out in that garden!!
We just planted our tomatoes and peppers, and are anxiously watering and waiting for those first pops of red! We know many of you have children or grandchildren that you want to introduce to the joys of gardening. If you haven’t been to the World Tomato Society website, you must check it out! Here’s an article from the site to get you started with those little ones…..Children in the Garden .
This Month’s Quotation:
God gave us the gift of life; it is up to us to give ourselves the gift of living well. — Voltaire
And speaking of living well, a little about real estate
Ah…..the Bay Area…..It’s really a tale of two markets, and usually two cities in one – the areas where prices are low and there’s less inventory, and the areas where
prices are high and many homes for sale that are probably going to be reduced in price at some point. Buyers, it’s definitely time to jump back in the market if you’ve been waiting it out. Prices are quite good at the lower end of the market, the perfect time to purchase a starter home for yourself or a first investment property. Sellers, if you’re overpricing your home, you’re making a mistake in this market – pricing “right on the money” is the name of the game now because if you don’t, you might end up reducing the price and staying on the market much longer than you anticipated.
We continue to preach the value of living in the Tri-Valley area. If you can’t find what you want in Silicon Valley, consider Livermore/Dublin/Pleasanton. Great homes, with large lots, in well-managed small cities, loads of activities to attend and especially with children, a manageable commute with many transportation options, for much less than Silicon Valley prices. The new-construction communities are beautiful and packed with amenities. We can show you everything and help you negotiate a sweet deal on your own dream home!
And last but not least, THE TRENDS
